The preparation of the Palm Oil Generator lead to the issue of realizing a low cost Data Acquisition for monitoring the behaviour of the system during the tests.
liber 1 (liberone) aims to be an evolution on a more complete hardware of the project liberino, that is based on the sw liberlab applied on Arduino hardware.
We've just got the hardware (Arduino Mega) and we are beginning to create the software.
It will surely consist in 2 parts, one to be loaded on the hardware and one to be installed on the pc that is doing the data acquisition.
Our intent is to use free software that can be run from any operating system, in order to provide an open and verstile sw.
In this very moment we are chosing the best sw for the data acquisition part, as the board allow just its own language (C-like). We are taking into account:
- Liberlab (o variation of it realized in python)
- Processing
- Ptolemy II, having a versatile blocks interface, like simulink and labview.
We'll try to keep the site updated with the progresses we are achieving.
That's all, by now.
